Evolving & Integration
Our goals for 2011 are to continue improving SilverCollection by adding new features and enhancing some of the existing components. We continue to receive great input from our existing clients and potential clients that are looking for features they need. This February we are expecting to release version 1.1.
Browsing - When browsing through the collection you will find the options on the left and the results on the right.
Searching - The filters are located on the left and the results are on the right. As each criteria is added the results will be updated.
Specimen - To view the details of any specimen, double click on the record.
Checklist - The checklist is similar to the browsing feature except it shows only a summary of species in a region and not the specimens themselves.
Distribution Maps - Each search result lets you load a distribution map related to that information for a more graphical view.
Help - For those that want to know all the features of the product can visit the online help tutorial at anytime.
CoolIris Support - For those who have the CoolIris plugin or iPhone App will be able to access visually interactive image catalogues.
