Collecting Research Data for the Scientific Community
Simple, Fast & Effective
SilverSurvey was initially formed to allow the United States Virtual Herbarium project to collect data about the status of the existing herbaria in the United States, visualize this information and at the same time make this data available to the public. The goal is to see the progress at individual, state, and regional level progress of providing digital specimens and label data.
SilverSurvey is a central repository for specific questions that do not fall in to the general collection information. SilverSurvey can be considered an extension of Biodiversity Collections Index because it uses the BCI as its base data set and collections additional questions about a set of collections.
